I believe that it's about time that we had a proper RAAMC tie that we can all be proud to wear. Over many years the Corps has had many versions of the RAAMC tie which someone has designed. All have looked very ordinary. There is only one RAAMC tie and it is the same as the RAMC tie, that is, it has three diagonal strips of equal width of dull cherry, royal blue and old gold. The only addition to this tie should be an RAAMC Badge at the bottom corner or in shadow along the width. Can you imagine the outcry if someone wanted to change a British Guards Regiment tie. Finally the tie described above only looks good in silk. Lets not mistake Unit ties with the Corps tie. What do you think?
