RAAMC Representative Honorary ColonelCOLONEL JOHN TASKE
Meet the Representative Honorary Colonel (Designate) COL John Taske. COL Taske replaces COL Bruce Perks at the end of 2009. COL Taske's service includes the appointment of RMO SASR, 6 RAR and the 2nd Field Ambulance during its service in Vietnam (1966-67). COL Taske's posting on retirement was the COMD Health Field Force Command. The RAAMC Committee thanks the outgoing Representative Honorary Colonel, COL Bruce Perks for his outstanding contribution to the RAAMC over the years and in particular during his tenure in this appointment. The Representative Honorary Colonel is appointed from the State Honorary Colonels by the Chief of Army. COL Taske remains the Honorary Colonel Queensland during this appointment. |
